Daniel joined Archroma 9 years ago, starting as a trainee in business support in Peru and swiftly progressing through different international roles.. He currently holds the position of Pricing & Portfolio Manager LATAM and has recently joined an international taskforce as Global Process Expert for the local order-to-cash process, working close together with other colleagues worldwide. He says:
“During my career I have faced a lot of changes and challenges, but I was lucky enough to have good mentors that helped me improve my leadership skills. This, together with a very good team, helped me achieve great results.”
Mentorship and teamwork have both been important aspects of his successful career, and one of the main reasons why he was able to thrive in such a variety of international roles. In addition to that, Daniel believes that the company’s culture was one of the contributing factors that helped to establish his work ethics. He adds:
“What I appreciate most about Archroma is the focus on speed, simplicity and customer focus. This is not limited only to the commercial departments, but it’s a widespread mindset across all functions.”
Not only is he focused on the present, and the specific value that he can bring to his current role, but he also an eye to the future:
“I look forward to sharing my experience with the new generation. I know first-hand the impact that a good mentor can have on you, and it is really inspiring to help others grow.”
In line with this way of thinking, when asked what his personal motto is, he replies that it’s the same advice that he would also give to new recruits:
“Never give up and never let others say that you can’t do it”
